Bohdan Karásek (1978, Brno) is a musician, film director and screenwriter. He graduated from the Higher Vocational School of Film in Zlín and later studied screenwriting and dramaturgy at FAMU, where he also worked as a teaching assistant. He has been making short amateur and experimental films since the 1990s. In 2008, he directed the film The Promising Generation.
