"Everyone has their compass"

In a future world dominated by an advanced species known as machina stellans (Latin for brilliant machine), created by earlier versions of artificial intelligence, homo sapiens have been forced to hide out in scattered interstellar outposts. The species are outwardly indistinguishable, allowing two sapiens students to infiltrate an elite academic prep school, the New Atlantis Academy. But they have been discovered and now must thread their way through the sprawling campus to meet up with a contact that can help them escape before they are captured by a group of hostile stellans seniors.
